My Garter Snake

My Garter Snake I got for my 8th birthday. He is now full grown and around 2 feet long. Most male garter snakes don't grow longer than that. Female garter's can get as long as 3 - 4 feet.

I named my Garter Snake Lief. After Lief Erickson the Viking.  He is the easiest snake to care for. If you hate the idea of feeding your snake live animal's or frozen mice, get a garter.  His main diet is earth worms or small fish. Mainly earth worms. I feed him every 3-4 days.  Below is a general care video. It is a little bit old. I now keep Lief in a 29 gallon long tank my mom got me from a thrift shop. I hope to post a new video soon.
